Radio Design India supports UK-India tech security initiative

Last week, Eric Hawthorn, Executive Chairman at Radio Design, proudly joined a UK technical delegation visiting India in support of Foreign Secretary David Lammy.

During the visit, the Foreign Secretary met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and launched a landmark Technology Security Initiative focused on strengthening cooperation between the UK and India. The initiative addresses collaboration in critical areas such as telecoms security, AI, critical minerals and emerging technologies.

Radio Design was honoured to be represented at such a pivotal event that showcases the growing strategic importance of UK-India collaboration in the tech and telecom sectors.

Since 2008, Radio Design India has played a vital role in the telecommunications landscape. Our manufacturing facility in Manesar, Gurugram has produced more than half a million filter products, serving both the Indian and international markets. This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation, quality, and global connectivity.

We are proud to contribute to initiatives that elevate security standards and strengthen international partnerships. We’ve also shared a selection of photos from the visit below, highlighting moments from the UK-India tech security initiative and Radio Design’s role in the event.
